The method of spectral analysis was applied to the total aeromagnetic intensity data covering district Ibapara, located on Nigeria Basement Complex in Oyo State, SW Nigeria. Prior analysis, inclined magnetisation converted vertical, reduced pole and filtered out order more correctly reflect spatial location morphology magnetic sources over geological bodies, enhance effects shallower deeper ones. divided into blocks sub-blocks, spectrally analysed for depths deep- shallow-seated sources. Curie-point-depths computed from these vary between 20.8 32.73 km, indicating that magnetized basement rocks are at different elevations probably block faulted. correlation shallow Curie-point-depth with Older Granites inferred low is due magmatic intrusion highly deformed migmatite unit, main geologic unit. surface heat flows derived 40.82 62.84 a mean 50.10 mW m-2, areas having high flow presumed be recent intrusions where elevated has transformed appropriate minerals sapphire, tourmaline aquamarine. Correlations average geothermal gradients one hand other, unlike global compilation, yielded close empirical relations attributed homogeneous geology area.
